So my friend Jill died last night, hopefully in peace. She was 42, left behind a husband, 4 brothers, a mother, 2 daughters (aged 9 and 12) and many people who loved her.
Jill was diagnosed with breast cancer in February. By the time she was diagnosed it had already spread to her bone. Chemotherapy and radiation did not even cause the cancer to blink and it soon travelled to her liver, her lungs, her brain, her entire body. She spent her last days surrounded by family and friends and saying goodbye to the people that she loved.
Cancer is a mean ass son of a bitch.
